New Financial Director at Green Highland

New Financial Director Hazel McIntyre at Green Highland

Green Highland Renewables has appointed Hazel McIntyre as Financial Director to oversee the next phase of growth at the company. Green Highland has raised a significant amount of finance and investment to develop its pipeline of hydro projects. Hazel is an experienced finance professional, having worked for many years within the banking sector in a number of roles, and most recently in insurance as Mergers & Acquisitions Director for Giles Insurance Brokers limited, one of the UK’s leading insurance brokers.  As Mergers & Acquisitions Director she established a formal process for all group acquisition activity, personally completed 20 acquisitions, and oversaw the completion of a further 10 transactions, and was appointed as a main board director of Giles. 

Her appointment will augment the management team of GHR going forward into its next phase of company development.  Managing Director Ian Cartwright says: “I would like to welcome her and look forward to her becoming a valued and important member of the team, at a time when we are about to realise the efforts of the last few years and take a significant number of schemes into construction.”
