GHR has a wide portfolio of projects across Scotland and was appointed in 2010 by Forestry Commission Scotland to explore hydro development of small scale hydro schemes on the national forest estate in the North West highlands.
GHR has been instrumental in creating hydro consortia between neighbouring landowners. A classic example is the seven scheme project in Glen Lyon, Perthshire with some schemes being in multi ownership.
The company’s business model allows GHR to participate in schemes as developers, joint venture partners or as project managers to owner-developers.
